MAINTAIN E-MAIL TEMPLATES

WSD uses e-mail templates to format all notification messages it sends. E-mail message formats can contain template variables in addition to standard text. You may include any text in an e-mail template that is allowable in an e-mail message. For more information, see the E-mail Templates tutorial.

• A Version History will not be maintained for any template created on this screen.
• If you use this screen to modify a template that has a Version History file (created via Submit New Request), the template's Version History will not be updated.

INFORMATION ON THIS SCREEN:

This screen displays a list of existing E-mail Templates in the Templates list.

FUNCTIONS:

VIEW TEMPLATE	First select a template from the Templates list, then select this function to display the template's source.
ADD NEW TEMPLATE	Select this function to display the Add New Template screen.
EDIT TEMPLATE	First select the template to be edited from the Templates list, then select this function to display the Edit Template screen.
DELETE TEMPLATE	First select the name of the Template you want to delete from the Templates list, then select this function.   The Confirm Delete Template screen displays and allows you to either confirm or cancel the deletion request. To complete the Delete Template function and return to this screen, click DELETE Warning: After this template has been deleted, WSD will not be able to send any e-mail messages that use this template. Ask your System Administrator to ensure that the deleted template is no longer used!
RETURN	Select this function to return to the Maintain Templates Screen.
