VERSION HISTORY

This screen displays the Version History of the content identified under Document/Template, and allows you to view information about prior versions of the content, including comments and Approval History.

INFORMATION ON THIS SCREEN:

Document/Template The path and filename of the document or template displayed on the Properties screen.

Title/Description The title or description of the document or template.

Author The author of the document or template.

WSD displays the following for each version of the document/template:

Selection Button Located in the left cell of the table. Click this radio button to select a version prior to performing one of the functions provided at the bottom of this screen.

Version The version number.

Date The date and time the version was published.

Author The author of the version.

Comments Located in the right cell of the table. All comments associated with the version.

FUNCTIONS:

SUBMIT AS NEW UPDATE Select a Version by clicking the radio button to the left of the Version, then select this function to submit the version into WSD's editing and approval process to replace the currently published version of the document/template.

COMMENTS Select a Version by clicking the radio button to the left of the Version, then select this function to display the selected version's comments in a full-size browser window.

APPROVAL HISTORY Select a Version by clicking the radio button to the left of the Version, then select this function to display detailed information about the selected version's passage through the approval process.

PROPERTIES Select a Version by clicking the radio button to the left of the Version, then select this function to display the Properties screen for the selected version.

VIEW Select a Version by clicking the radio button to the left of the Version, then select this function to display the selected version in a browser window.

COMPARE WITH PUBLISHED Select a Version by clicking the radio button to the left of the Version, then select this function to display the selected version and the currently published version in a split browser window.

RETURN Select this function to return to the Properties screen.
