INFORMATION ON THIS SCREEN: |
Submitting to |
Based on your
user permissions, this drop-down list displays the the workflow stage into
which this request will be placed when you click the SUBMIT or PUBLISH
button.
- If you
are using WSD Advanced, which does not include workflow, the
drop-down list displays "Publishing" as only available choice.
- If you
are using WSD Pro, it may also allow you to select from a list
of other stages assigned to the Approval Class associated with the
Request, and may also allow you to
select from a list of other stages assigned to the Approval Class
associated with the Request
.
Note:
If you do not have approval
permission for a workflow stage assigned to the Approval Class, you may
still approve the request into that stage. However, you will not be
able to access the request once it is submitted.
The approval class associated with your request is based on the following:

If you have been assigned an Approval Class, the drop-down
box lists the Workflow Stages for your assigned Approval Class.
- If you have not been assigned an Approval Class, and
the subdirectory
displayed in the Address space has an assigned Approval Class, the workflow stages assigned
to the subdirectory will be listed.
- If none of the above are true, the stages assigned to
your system's Default Approval Class (assigned on the System Configuration screen) will be listed.

Document |
The path and filename of the document selected on the Submit New
Request screen. |
Title |
The title of the document. If permitted, you may type the title
of the content in this Data Entry box. This information may be referenced by the <$title>
template variable (Header, Footer, E-mail, and Directory Indexing templates). |
Description |
Data entry field containing the description of the document. If
permitted, you may type the description of the new content in this Data Entry box; up to 255 characters.
This information may be referenced by the <$description> template variable (Header, Footer, E-mail, and Directory Indexing templates). |
Page Layout Template |
This field displays if the content uses a Page Layout
Template. This information may not be changed. |
Header |
This data entry box displays if
the
content's mime type (based on the file extension) has the "Templates Supported" option enabled. See Edit Mime Type for more information.
You may select the Header
template
for the content from this drop-down box of available header templates .
Warning:
If a Page Layout Template will be used to create this content, make sure the values associated with the
Header that you select do not adversely affect the format of the Page Layout Template. Use the View Request function to determine if the header you choose is compatible with
the Page Layout Template you are using. |
Footer |
This data entry box displays if
the
content's mime type (based on the file extension) has the "Templates Supported" option enabled. See Edit Mime Type for more information.
You may select the Footer
template
for the content from this drop-down box of available footer templates .
Warning:
If a Page Layout Template will be used to create this content, make sure the values associated with the Footer that you select do not adversely affect the format of the Page Layout
Template. Use the View Request function to determine if the header you choose is compatible
with the Page Layout Template you are using. |
Comments |
Type your comments regarding this
request,
or instructions to other members collaborating in your workflow into this data entry box. These comments will become part of the permanent record associated with this request,
and may be viewed in the content's Version History after it is published. These comments can be used in
e-mail notifications that use the <$comments> template command. |
