SYSTEM REPORTS

This screen allows you to select six reports about WSD activities: Request Status, User Information, Request Activity, Log Files, Templates and Link Check.

INFORMATION ON THIS SCREEN:

Request Status 

For WSD Pro, the Request Status Report displays the information for requests in each workflow stage.You may also display requests in the Trash Bin, your Pending Requests, and Publishing stages by selecting the applicable checkboxes.

Note: For WSD Advanced, only the Trash Bin and Pending Requests stages display. 

The following information displays for each request :

  • Request Type (ADD, MODIFY, etc.)
  • Full path and file name of the content associated with the request.

To display this report, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Request Status radio button,
  2. Select either All Requests (lists all requests by workflow stage) or For Author (select the author's name from the drop-down list to display only those requests for the selected author),
  3. Select Trash Bin, Pending Requests and/or Publishing boxes to Include requests in those stages, and
  4. Click Start Report
User Information Summary Select the Summary radio button and click Start Report to display the following information about every WSD user: 
  • User Name 
  • First & Last Name
  • E-Mail Address 
  • URL.
  • User Information Detail Select the Detail radio button and click Start Report to display a report in user-name order. The following information displays for each WSD user, if it has been provided: 
  • User Name and First & Last Name 
  • E-Mail Address 
  • Display E-Mail Address
  • URL
  • User Permissions
  • System Permissions
  • Workflow Access Permissions
  • Workflow Approval Permissions 
  • Workflow Editing Permissions
  • Group Membership
  • Notifications.
  • Request Activity

    The Request Activity report provides a list of requests in the chronologal order they were submitted. The report displays the following information for each request: 

  • Full Path and File name of content 
  • Name of user who submitted the request
  • Request type (in parentheses) 
  • Date and time the request was submitted
  • To display this report, complete the following steps:

    1. Select the Request Activity radio button,
    2. Select the Start date for the report (the oldest date from which (inclusive) you want WSD to begin reporting activity),
    3. Select the End date for the report (the most recent date through which (inclusive) you want WSD to include activity),
    4. Select the types of requests to Include in the report: Submissions, Approvals, Disapprovals and Published, and
    5. Click Start Report.
    Log Files The WSD Log File provides a log of all actions, in chronological order, including the date and time, and a description of the action performed. To display this report, complete the following steps:
    1. Select the Log Files radio button,
    2. Select either Activity (shows all activity for the time period selected by Start and End, including errors),  Error (shows only the errors during the time period), or SQL (shows all SQL queries for the time period).
    3. Select the Start date for the report (the oldest date from which (inclusive) you want WSD to begin reporting activity), 
    4. Select the End date for the report (the most recent date through which (inclusive) you want WSD to include activy),
    5. Click Start Report.
    Templates

    To display a list of the documents or directories that use a selected Header, Footer, Page Layout or Index template, complete the following steps:

    • Select the Templates radio button,
    • Select the radio button in front of the Template Type (Page Header, Page Footer, Page Layout, Index),
    • Select the template name from the drop-down list, and
    • Click Start Report.

    Link Check -
       
    Orphaned Document 

    Select the Orphaned Documents checkbox to display a list of published documents that are NOT referenced (Linked TO ) by HTML documents on your web site using hyperlink, body, picture, form, object, and script tags.

    Note: The list will NOT show any documents in directories that have the " Skip Orphan Document Check"  Property checked (See Directory Properties for details).   

    FUNCTIONS:

    START REPORT Select this function to displays the selected report in a browser window. Use your browser's print function to print the report.
    RETURN Select this function to return to the Application Desktop.
