WebSite Director TeamWSD Help

EDIT USER INFO
Accessed from the User Administration Screen

This screen displays the user's name and the following dates: the date the user's record was created, and the date the user's record was last modified. This information may not be changed.

The following data entry boxes may be modified for the TeamWSD user if you have User Administration permission:

First Name (Optional) - The user's first name; can include middle initial. For example, John J.

Last Name The user's surname; can include suffixes such as Jr., Sr., or III. For example, Jones Jr.

E-mail Address TeamWSD will use the e-mail address entered here for the WebSite Director (WSD) user information. Required to maintain repository users' information, permissions and preferences (see User Data Repositories below).

TeamWSD Permissions These checkboxes allow you to assign permissions for specific TeamWSD functions. Select from the following:

User Administration - The user may add and maintain TeamWSD users.
Repository Administration - The user may add and configure User Data Repositories for your TeamWSD site.
System Administration - The user may access the TeamWSD System Configuration screen.

User Data Repository Permissions This is a listing of all "Shared" User Data Repositories. Each repository name includes the type in parenthesis (WSD Pro, WSD, WSD Lite and WSD Express). The following functions are provided for each listed repository:

a checkbox to provide the user with Login Access to the applicable repository; must be selected before accessing the edit functions.
an [EDIT] function button for each of the following WSD screens: [Edit] User Info, User Permissions and User Preferences.

FUNCTION BUTTONS

[UPDATE USER] Saves the changes and returns to the previous screen.

[CANCEL] Discards any changes and returns to the previous screen.
