WebSite Director (WSD) presents the Browser Edit screen when you select the TEXT radio button  and click EDIT ONLINE from the Edit Template screen. This screen lets you use your browser to create or edit an HTML template that is up to 32K in size.

This screen displays the complete path and filename of the current template on a line located above the editor window. After you finish editing your template, you may select the following functions:

• PREVIEW - WSD displays the template.
• View Source Checkbox - Select this checkbox located below the function buttons before clicking PREVIEW to view the template's HTML source code.
• UPDATE - WSD updates your template and remains in the browser edit screen.
• UPDATE AND RETURN - WSD updates your template and returns to the Edit Template screen.
• CANCEL - WSD discards all changes you have made to your template since the last time you pressed UPDATE, and returns you to the Edit Template screen.
