The Server Permissions Check report displays your server's permissions to access the directories and files used by WebSite Director Express (WSD). The report displays the Platform, Machine ID, Server User ID, Server Group ID and Server Groups, in addition to the permission for the following directories and files: 

• Install Directory
• Template Directory
• Preview Directory
• Access Control Directory
• Document Root Directory
• Support Directory
• Samples Directory
• Password Directory
• Mime Types File
• Activity Log File

The following indicators may be displayed by each directory/file name:

• OK -
• Failed  No write access for directory <directory path and filename>
• Failed  No write access for file <file path and filename>
• Failed  No read access for directory <directory path and filename>
• Failed  No read access for file <directory path and filename>
