MAINTAIN STAGES
Each phase of the WebSite Director (WSD) workflow is controlled by a Workflow Stage. When WSD is first installed, there is one assigned Stage - Initial Entry. Each additional stage must be created using the Add New Stage screen, and assigned to an approval type -- Author, Group or Individual. The approval type determines who can and needs to review and approve requests in the Stage.
This screen displays a list of Workflow Stages for your site, and allows you to access screens where you may add a new stage, or edit/delete an existing state.
FUNCTIONS: |
ADD STAGE | Select this function to display the Add New Stage screen where you can add a new stage and its position in the workflow stage list. You will also assign the stage type (Author, Group or Individual), the Notification E-mail Template for Group stages, Required Request information, and submission and approval options for the stage. |
EDIT STAGE | Select a stage from the Workflow Stages list, the select this function to display the Edit Stage screen where you can change the stage name, type, Notification E-mail Template, Required Request information and submission/approval options for the stage. |
Select a stage from the Workflow Stages list, the select this function to begin the Delete Stage process. After you select this function, WSD displays the Confirm Delete Stage screen where you can confirm or cancel the delete request. Warning: Before you use this function, first navigate to the Application Desktop and select the stage to make sure there are no requests awaiting processing in the stage. If there are requests in the stage, wait until they have been approved/disapproved out of the stage before continuing. | |
RETURN | Select this function to return to the System Administration screen. |
