MAINTAIN APPROVAL CLASSES
Approval Classes provide the ability to create workflow approval paths. When a request is submitted to add new content or to change existing content, WSD looks at the Approval Class to determine the workflow stage into which the new request will be placed, as follows:
After an Approval Class is created, it may be associated with either specific site segments or individual users in one of the following ways:
This screen provides a list of Approval Classes that have been added to your installation of WSD, and depending on your permissions, provides access to screens where you may add new Approval Classes, and edit or delete existing Approval Classes.
FUNCTIONS: |
ADD NEW CLASS |
Select this button to display the Add New Approval Class screen. Note: If you later decide to add new workflow stages and groups that are required for the Approval Class you will be adding, you must use the Edit Class function to update the Approvals Needed so WSD will enforce their use. |
EDIT CLASS | First select the Approval Class to be edited from the Approval Classes list. Then select this function to display the Edit Approval Class screen. |
DELETE CLASS |
1) Select the name of the Approval Class to be deleted from the Approval Classes list. 2) Click DELETE CLASS.
3) To complete the Delete Class function and return to this screen, click DELETE |
RETURN | Select this function to return to the System Administration screen |
