MAINTAIN WEB SITE
This screen allows you to maintain directories under your server's "Document Root" or the "Working Directory" for which this copy of WSD is installed.
| INFORMATION ON THIS SCREEN: |
| Current Directory | Displays the current directory.If you know the fully qualified path to the directory to which you are navigating, you may type that path/directory name into this field. Click on the CHANGE DIRECTORY button to navigate to your destination directory before using the Functions listed below. |
| Directories and Documents |
A list of all of the the directories and files within the Current Directory. All directories under the Current Direcory will be listed before the list of files in the Current Directory. Note: The ordering/sequence of directories and files will vary between Unix-based and Windows-based server platforms. |
| CHANGE DIRECTORY | Select (Click on) this button to navigate to a new directory. If you have not typed a new location into the Current Directory field, you must first select a directory name from the Directories and Documents list, then select this button. WSD will re-display this screen and the selected name will display as the Current Directory. |
| FUNCTIONS: |
| SUBMIT NEW REQUEST | Select this function to display the Submit New Request screen. |
| VIEW DOCUMENT | Select a file name from the Directories and Documents list, then select this function to view the content in a browser window. If you select an executable file (i.e., .exe), you may execute the file from this list. |
| Select this function to display the Directory Properties screen for the Directory selected in the Directories and Documents list. Properties that can be displayed and changed include assigning a Default Approval Class to the directory, making the directory a Private Directory, and Indexing the directory. | |
| CREATE DIRECTORY | Select this function to display the Create Directory screen. |
| COPY DIRECTORY | Select this function to display the Copy Directory screen. |
| MOVE DIRECTORY | Select this function to display the Move Directory screen. |
| RENAME DIRECTORY | Select this function to display the Rename Directory screen. |
| Select this function to display the Confirm Delete Directory screen. | |

If you have selected a directory name from the Directories and Documents list, you may Select this function to generate an index for the selected directory. WSD displays a Directory Index Created confirmation screen. This function is available only if "Yes" has been selected for the Maintain Directory Index Files on the System Policies screen. WSD will display an error message if a Directory Index Filename has NOT been selected on the System Config screen, or "Maintain Index" and a Directory Index Template for this directory was NOT selected on the Create Directory or Directory Properties screen. |
