MAINTAIN MIME TYPES

Accessed from: System Configuration screen

The Maintain Mime Types functions allow you to Maintain and control the various options that are available for each mime type. You can assign the ability to edit documents online, use templates, include a BASE HREF tag, and use the Dynamic Content Preview directory to individual mime types. Mime Types

Displays a list of the current mime types followed by the extension in parenthesis ( ).

[Options]

Key to the options selected for listed Mime Types; displayed between braces [ ]. Edit Online Supported - content may be edited on-line. Templates Supported (Not available in WSD and WSD Lite)  - content can use Page Layout templates. Include BASE HREF Tag - content will have a BASE HREF tag be placed at the beginning of the content during View and Preview. Dynamic Content - Content will be temporarily copied into the Dynamic Content Preview Directory during View and Preview (see System Configuration).

Function Buttons
ADD NEW MIME TYPE	Displays the Add New Mime Type screen.
EDIT MIME TYPE	Highlight the Mime Type to be edited in the Mime Types list and click this button to display the Edit Mime Type screen.
DELETE MIME TYPE	Highlight the Mime Type to be deleted in the Mime Types list and click this button to request that the Mime Type be deleted. The Confirm Delete Mime Type screen displays, and allows you to confirm or cancel the delete request.
