The template name selected on the previous screen displays in the Template: display box. To assist you in creating or editing your template, WSD provides the following tutorials:

Use the following function buttons to upload, download or create/edit your template online.

Function Buttons

UPLOAD Type the filename of the template file located on your hard drive in the Local Filename: data entry box. Or, use the BROWSE button to locate the filename. Then click this button to upload the file from your computer.

VIEW TEMPLATE Displays the template in "View Sample" mode. Select the "View Source" checkbox before using this function if you want to view the HTML source code for this template.

View Source Checkbox
Select this checkbox prior to clicking VIEW TEMPLATE to view the template's HTML source code in a browser window.

EDIT ONLINE Select the method for creating or editing your template by clicking one of the the radio buttons, WYSIWYG or TEXT, and then clicking this button.

WYSIWYG (Not available in WSD Lite) - Create your template online using the WYSIWYG editor selected on the User Preferences screen.
TEXT - Create your HTML document online using a Browser Editor. Note that due to browser constraints, the template may not exceed 32k bytes.

DOWNLOAD Download a copy of the Template to your local computer. This function is not available if this screen was accessed from the Add New Template screen.
