MOVE/COPY DOCUMENT Accessed from Maintain Documents screen

WebSite Director (WSD) presents the Move/Copy Document screen when you select a document and click MOVE/COPY DOCUMENT on the Maintain Documents screen.

This screen displays the following information:
 
Source File Path and Name The document to be moved or copies; selected on the Maintain Documents screen.
Destination File Path and Name The data entry box where you will type the destination directory and name where the document will be moved or copied.
Destination Directory A list of all directories and subdirectories under your site's Working Directory. The directory selected on the Maintain Documents screen will be highlighted in this list.

This screen allows you to perform the following functions:

To move or copy the selected document to another directory, complete the following steps:
  1. In the Destination Directory: list box, highlight the name of the directory to which the document is to be moved or copied.
  2. If the document is to have a different name, type it in the Destination File Path and/or Name: data entry box.
  3. Click [MOVE] or [COPY]
  4.       OR
    Click [CANCEL] to return to the Maintain Documents screen without moving or copying the document.
To copy the selected document to the same directory with a different name, complete the following steps:
  1. Type the new name in the Destination File Path and/or Name: data entry box.
  2. Click [COPY]
  3.       OR
    Click [CANCEL] to return to the Maintain Documents screen without copying the document.
