MAINTAIN PAGE HEADER TEMPLATES
WebSite Director (WSD) allows you to create standard headers to be used on content to be published to the web site. These templates may also contain standard branding information and/or site navigation controls.
After a Header Template is created, it may be assigned to content via the following: the Add/Upload Document screen, on a request's Properties screen during editing sessions, or via Page Layout Templates.
When the content is published, the final document is generated from a combination of the Page Header Template, the content body or Page Layout Template, and the Page Footer Template.
For more information, see the Header and Footer Templates tutorial.
