Publishing Status Help

PUBLISHING

This screen allows you to review requests that have been approved for publishing, but have not yet been published. You may review the date a request is scheduled to be published on its Properties screen. The valid Publish Dates are:

Immediately - The document will be published as soon as it is approved to the Publishing stage.
Tonight - The document will be published the next time the publishing module is executed. This is the default value unless the default has been changed on the System Policies screen. Note: When "Tonight" is selected, the date fields to the right of this option are ignored.
Future Date - You may select a date, or a date and time, in the future for publishing the document. The "Time" option depends on the Publish Date Selection on the System Policies screen. Note: When "Future Date" is selected, the document will be published the first time the publishing module is executed following the date, or date and time, displayed to the right of this option. Use the drop-down date lists to select the correct publication date and (optional) time.

If you have permission, you may publish a request that has a Publish Date of "Tonight" and "Future Date" by selecting PUBLISH IMMEDIATELY on this screen. The default Publish Dates for your system are set on the System Policies screen.

FUNCTIONS:

VIEW REQUEST Highlight the request and select this function to display the content in a browser window.

PROPERTIES Highlight the request and select this function to display the Properties screen for the request.

COMMENTS Highlight the request and select this function to display previous Comments about the request.

DOWNLOAD Highlight the request to be downloaded to your computer and select this function. The Publishing status of the request will not change.

PUBLISH IMMEDIATELY Highlight the request to be published immediately and select this function. WSD will publish the request and display a publication confirmation screen.

DISAPPROVE REQUEST
Highlight the request to be dissaproved and select this function to remove the request from the Publishing stage. The Disapprove Request screen allows you to disapprove the request back to another stage, or the Trash Bin.

RETURN
Select this function to return to the System Administration screen.
