WebSite Director Express (WSD) presents the Maintain Directories screen if you are using Browser Navigation (see User Preferences) and you click MAINTAIN DIRECTORIES on the Application Desktop screen. 

Note: If you are using Explorer Navigation, these same functions are available from the Application Desktop by using the icons on the Tool Bar. See the Application Desktop help screen for Explorer Navigation.

The following information displays: 

Working Directory	This field displays the name of the Working Directory. See Working Directory for more information
Current Directory	This data entry box displays the name of the directory selected on the Maintain Directories screen. You may type a new directory name, or select a subdirectory from the Directories: list. See CHANGE DIRECTORY below.
Directories	The names of the subdirectories under the Current Directory. If you will be selecting a function for an existing directory (for example, Move Directory), you must highlight the directory name in this list.
CHANGE DIRECTORY (function)	Change to a different directory by first selecting the subdirectory name from the Directories list and then clicking this button. The subdirectory will display in the Current Directory box.

FUNCTIONS

WSD displays function buttons along the side of the screen. Some of these buttons may not be available if you do not have permission to access the function. The maximum number of buttons that can be present are listed below.
 

PROPERTIES	Highlight a directory  name in the Directories: list and click this button to display information about the highlighted directory.
CREATE DIRECTORY	Click to access the Create Directory screen where you may create a new directory under the subdirectory displayed in the Current Directory: field.
COPY DIRECTORY	Highlight a directory name in the Current Directory: list and click this button to copy the directory, including it's subdirectories and documents, to another directory.
MOVE DIRECTORY	Highlight a directory name in the Current Directory: list and click this button to change the destination file path and/or name of the directory.
RENAME DIRECTORY	Highlight a directory name in the Current Directory: list and click this button to change the name of the highlighted directory.
DELETE DIRECTORY	Highlight a directory name in the Current Directory: list and click this button to delete the directory. The Confirm Delete Directory screen displays where you may confirm or abort the deletion request.
